With its Branch offices in Ukraine and Poland, Intego Clinical’s Biometric Department is looking for experienced Scrum Master! We’re looking for bright individuals to join our growing team!

The role of the Scrum Master is extremely important in a Clinical Programming organization with the objective of embedding Scrum and Agile methodology within the company. Scrum Master will work with pipeline project teams across geographies and be accountable for ensuring that agile principles are adopted within project teams; foster open communication within and across teams; coach and mentor teams in the adoption of agile methodologies, etc.

General responsibilities include:

  • Play a pivotal role in coaching and guiding our cross-functional teams in adopting and embedding Agile principles and practices, to deliver high-quality products and services within Clinical Programming.
  • Drive the successful delivery of Agile technology solutions within the Clinical Programming effort in GSK.
  • Lead and direct delivery of large, complex Agile projects and programs on time, within budget, with high quality while meeting desired business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners (Study Lead Programmers, Project Programmers), Business Owners (Study Lead Statisticians, Project Statisticians), developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and continuous improvement throughout the development process.
  • Support Product Owners in the translation of deliverables into a backlog of tasks to be managed by Scrum/Agile methodologies by working closely with the Product Owner to confirm scope, estimate, resources, roles and responsibilities.
  • Support Product Owners and Business Owners in the prioritization of the product backlog through Backlog Refinement and Sprint Planning ceremonies.

General requirements:

  • Proven experience and strong understanding Scrum and Agile methodology, including (but not limited to) Agile ceremonies such as Daily Scrum Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Reviews/Demos
  • Able to engage and foster collaboration, resource autonomy, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise using a platform such as JIRA to manage a development team’s backlog through Scrum methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Product Owner/s and Development Team/s in aligning and maintaining the product backlog with overall business objectives, and clarifying requirements with the team to ensure understanding.
  • Strong leadership skills in identifying, negotiating, and removing impediments and blockers to the project team/s.
  • Fostering and environment of trust, respect, and open communication between team members.
